Windows 7 Boot Updater is open source program which easily change the animation and text of windows 7 boot screen with the help of registry files and also it is available for free to download. You can choose from variety of boot screens and can change background color, Text font, Text color and of course size as well.

2. Now right click on Windows7BootUpdater.exe and click “Run as Administrator“.

So let’s get started:
1. Press Windows+R button and type Regedit in the field and hit enter from your keyboard.
2. This will open Registry Editor, Simply browse to key mention below manually.

3. Now left click on Background folder and then right click on right side of the registry pane and select NewDWORD key.
4. Rename the DWORD file to OEMBackground.
5. Double click on newly created file and set its value to 1.
6. Now open My computer and browse to this directory:

C:WindowsSystem32oobeinfobackgrounds

7. Paste your custom image in this folder and rename it to  backgroundDefault

8. Now just logoff your pc and enjoy the new custom logon screen.

3 In the “Computer Management” sidebar click “Disk Management”.

Right click on the drive letter you want to change. Please read warnings before continuing any further!
If you can’t see the drive letter you want to change you can scroll down.
For a drive that has “Online” under it, the drive letter will be in the media area.
